There are lots of farms and hiking trails in Japan. A lot of people who live on the countryside purchase their own tractors to use for both work and transportation. While many people are on the market for tractors, they realize that purchasing a new tractor would be more expensive. Buying a brand new tractor is probably out of a lot of people’s price range. With that being said, there are two alternative options for purchasing a tractor. These options are purchasing either a used or a reconditioned tractor. However, many people may not know the difference.
A used tractor is a tractor that has been previously owned. Nothing has really been done to it to make it any better for a secondhand purchase. It is just less costly. However, if the previous owner took good care of the tractor; it may be a good fit within your price range.

A reconditioned tractor is a tractor that has been restored. It is more functional and will have less problems mechanically, especially Japanese used tractors. There is a specific process for reconditioning a tractor for resale. So, you can be certain that if you are paying for a reconditioned tractor that you are getting a good tractor that will be guaranteed to be in good working condition.
Both, the used tractor and the reconditioned tractor are by far less expensive than if you were to purchase a brand new tractor. However, a used tractor is not guaranteed to not have any problems. You do not know how well it was maintained. This would be something to ask about when looking into used tractors. Used tractors are less expensive than reconditioned tractors, though. Due to the work that is put into reconditioning a tractor, it is to be expected that they will cost a little more than a used tractor. The price is worth it, though. If you would like a guarantee that you will have a fully functional tractor with no mechanical issues, then a reconditioned tractor would be the best choice. Reconditioned tractors are still less expensive than a new tractor.
